We are hiring a qualified and experienced part-time swim teachers for our new swimming facility.You will become part of a team that delivers the highest quality swimming experience for our family of swimmers.
Lessons run weekdays and weekends, daytime, and evening-time.
Successful candidates will be offered times and days that work for both parties.
Job Type: Part Time Hours – Contract Based
Salary: Between €18.00 to €25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

3. Purpose of The Role
· Ensure swimmers receive the highest service through the delivery of professional, safe and enjoyable swimming lessons as well as out of pool customer service.
· Ensure customers are satisfied with our service and are likely to re-book another swimming course.
· Ensure the pool area is clean, tidy and safe for swimmers.
· Ensure that every swimmer is comfortable and progressing at their own pace.
· To always represent Swimtastic, our values, and mission in a professional manner.
4. Duties & Responsibilities
· Have a commitment to our vision, mission and values and share a passion for swimming.
· Where classes are available, there is an expectation that you teach the full range, at various venues. We offer classes on weekdays and weekends, and you will need to be available for both. This includes Sundays.
· Perform poolside assistant roles from time to time so that you see other teachers working and therefore improve your own offering.
· By following documented programs, you provide lessons that are fun, instructive and customer centred. Customers are always your responsibility.
· Dealing with customer queries or complaints by phone, email or in person.
· You must provide adequate supervision to ensure customer safety.
· You must have a full knowledge of the pool area, operating and emergency procedures and carry out the necessary risk assessments.
· Ensure areas (poolside & changing area) are tidy and hygienic when you arrive and leave.
· Ensuring that all equipment remains clean and undamaged and is stored safely after sessions.
· Ensure that all safety and other notices are displayed prior to swimmers arriving and taken down at the end.
· Printing and taking the registers prior to each class.
· Updating attendance in the customer database.
· Ensure swimmers are wearing the correct swim attire and have removed jewellery, etc.
· Develop a relationship with your students; lead them as a group while also understanding the needs of individual swimmers.
· Provide and obtain feedback at the end of lessons. Honest and constructive feedback will be given to you, which you will be expected share with other members of the team and management.
· Attend continuous professional development sessions on safety, risk and teaching.
· You may be required to attend promotion days and provide occasional cover for other team members.
· Other duties at the same level of responsibility may be allocated at any time.
