Our swimming pool and leisure centre offer a wide range of activities and amenities for all ages. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre Attendant to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

The Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre Attendants will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and overall enjoyment of patrons at our facility. This role involves supervising pool activities, maintaining the cleanliness of the centre, and providing excellent customer service to all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Supervision:

Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Provide first aid and emergency response when necessary.
Conduct regular safety checks and equipment inspections.

Customer Service:

Greet and assist visitors, providing information about the facility’s services and programs.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure a welcoming and friendly environment for all patrons.

Facility Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the swimming pool and leisure centre.
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including pool maintenance, locker room upkeep, and waste management.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.

Program Support:

Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, classes, and activities.
Support instructors and coaches during swim lessons and fitness programs.
Promote and encourage participation in centre activities and memberships.

Experience & Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
