Course description
This is the follow up stage for those that have completed Pre School level 3. Now Independence is further developed in addition to learning and practicing safety-first behaviours.

Course Skills
- Attend at least 60% of the course classes
- Independent swims with board on their tummy
- Rotation happy – roll over from tummy onto their back
- Comfortable with face in water – holding breath or blowing bubbles
- Able to do 1 – 2 metre swims independently from carer towards wall or around in the pool
- Has achieved board independence
- Safety drills 1 - Jumping in
- Safety drills 2 - No running on the pool bank, no running away from carer
- Safety drills 3 - Jumping in turning around and holding onto wall
- Safety drills 4 - Jumping off the mat, go underwater and then find parent or the mat to hold on to
