Course description

This is the follow up stage for those that have completed Pre School level 5. With preschoolers confident swimming short distance away from parents, we are focusing on importance of their understanding of breathe and breathing patterns, to allow them to enjoy underwater swim as much as they would like to.

  • Independence building week by week
  • Attend at least 60% of the course classes
  • Swimming slightly longer distances independently
  • Breath Control
  • Ability to come up for air - Breathing pattern
  • Full submerging - collecting objects from bottom of the pool
  • Streamline position
  • Board independence
  • Safety drills - Jumping in turning around and holding onto wall
  • Safety drills - Jumping off the mat, go underwater and then find parent or the mat to hold on to
  • Safety drills - Showing basics of treading water with aids
  • Rotation from tummy & back
  • Short Front Crawl swims
