My little boy Tom and I have enjoyed Swimtastic for 5 years now. Tom began with when he was just 2. Then, I began the Adult programme. All their teachers are brilliant, professional, and very friendly. The atmosphere is fun, and we learn so much each term. We now swim together as a family. I can’t say enough good about Swimtastic.

Myself & my 8-month-old daughter Grace have completed our second term with Swimtastic and cannot recommend them enough. The teachers are excellent and make the babies (and the mammies & daddies) feel so comfortable and confident. I have really seen an improvement with Grace and will be sticking with Swimtastic. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

This is our fourth year with Swimtastic, and Chloe’s water skills have improved so much as a result. She just wants to know when she is going swimming again. Sue and Amanda work brilliantly with the kids. Nothing is forced, just easy going and great fun. I would recommend these classes to everyone. From day one, a great experience all round.

Great fun for the kids and a fantastic way to introduce our 3 boys; William, John and Andrew to the water. The highlight of the week for them. I can’t recommend these lessons highly enough. The teachers are fantastic with the kids and totally put them at ease in the water. We are five years with Swimtastic and have enjoyed every moment.

Our 2 year old just graduated from the Baby levels and is moving on to Pre-school. We just can’t praise the teachers and the class highly enough. The format is fun but the progression from day one is steady and brilliantly put together. Can’t wait for the next level. 100% recommend Swimtastic for a great experience and great fun along the way.

We have been with Swimtastic for five years. Marissa and I progressed through the Adult programme and our children, Ella and Daniel are in the children’s programme since they were infants. We look forward to our lessons every week, the programmes are great fun, and we have learned to enjoy the water with confidence. The teachers and office staff are lovely people.

We wanted Emma to get used to the water and become confident. The outcome was so much more than I expected! Elaine her teacher, is amazing, it is super to see Emma’s confidence grow. I cannot recommend Elaine enough, she has patience, and is enthusiastic. She is just fantastic and a real credit to your team. Would highly recommend Swimtastic!

Dara has completed his beginner course. It was a great experience from day one. He felt relaxed and at ease from the start. The improvement in Dara has been huge he now loves the water and is getting very confident. Classes are small, and the kids all get to know each other over the weeks. A great experience and very professionally run.

Fantastic class to take with your children to. My son completed the first two stages and loves the water, we will definitely be returning. All the teachers were great and so friendly. It was a fun experience all round. We have been very impressed by how the classes and booking systems run and feel it is great value for money.

I have three children with Swimtastic, beginning with the Toddler up to the Junior program. Over the last year my eldest little girl has become so confident and is enjoying herself in the junior classes. Which is what it’s all about. Swimtastic are so friendly, accommodating, and responsive to queries. We think these are super lessons for children of all ages.

Our boys just completed their second term with Swimtastic, and they love it. Amanda and Zuzana are amazing with the children and create a really calm, supportive and relaxed environment for learning. They are always so enthusiastic and positive, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Looking forward to the next term. The boys love their swimming classes.

Our daughter Aeda has just completed 2 courses of lessons with Swimtastic and enjoyed every second of her time in the water. The teachers are amazing. We’ve seen heaps of progress over the duration of the 2 courses and we now have a water confident Seahorse! We’ll definitely be enrolling for a 3rd course and would recommend Swimtastic to anyone considering lessons.

I couldn't recommend Swimtastic highly enough for the adult learner classes. I started off a nervous beginner and somehow Zuzana and Elaine managed to teach me so well - with patience and support. I now have confidence in the water that I never thought I could have. Classes are fun and relaxed and I'm looking forward to the next term already.

At the outset, I could swim but struggled with my breathing and strokes. I enjoy swimming every week, so I wanted to improve so that I could get more out of pool visits. My teacher was Elaine, and she was great. My technique has improved a lot. I can breathe well when swimming multiple strokes, and I’ve met some lovely people.

I really enjoyed the classes with Zuzana and Donnagh. They explained the movements necessary in such a simplistic way. Every question was fully addressed, and they made sure you fully understood the answer before moving on with the class. It was a relaxed and enjoyable experience with very patient instructors. An excellent learn to swim programme from Swimtastic.

Would highly recommend their Adult classes. Instructors were great - very patient and easy to work with. The lessons were great fun and supportive! I learned lots and my technique, breathing, strokes and stamina have improved. Week by week progression and I never felt pressurised or stressed. I’d recommend Swimtastic’s Adult programme to anyone no matter how nervous.

I would recommend swimtastic to anyone of any age, who wants to learn to swim. Zuzana, Donnagh, Edel and Elaine are fantastic teachers. A recent self-taught swimmer I tentatively joined the advanced swimming sessions. From day one I was positively encouraged and directed. All aspects are considered- improving stroke and technique, improving fitness, additional tips and tricks I'd never have known. I cannot recommend Swimtastic and the team HIGHLY enough. I had the most fantastic 7-week course. Zuzana was an amazing instructor and I really felt at ease with her in the water. She was always pleasant and friendly and explained everything really well. I had a great night’s sleep every night after the classes as the relaxation at the end was lovely. Now I’m looking forward to the infant classes.

I just finished my course of Ante Natal yoga with Swimtastic and I’m so glad I did it. Zuzana was amazing, and the classes were so relaxing and fun at the same time. Also, they were never the same, so you don’t get bored. I’m looking forward to going back, but this time it will be with my little one!

I loved every minute of the aqua natal yoga classes in Portlaoise. It was lovely to have that time to focus on me and the baby and to enjoy the weightlessness and support of the water. Really enjoyed pregnancy yoga. It was something to look forward to and gave me some peace of mind amid a difficult pregnancy when I had to give up other forms of exercise. It was great having the chats with other expectant mothers and lovely to feel weightless in the water! I look forward to more with this fabulous crew, this time with my baby.

I attended the pregnancy Yoga classes which were fantastic. I felt so comfortable in the class and Zuzana let us all go at our own pace, plus I slept like a baby afterwards which was great as I was having problems sleeping. All the instructors are fantastic. I will definitely be attending the baby swimming when I give birth.

I loved every minute of the Pregnancy Yoga classes in Portlaoise. Lovely to have that time to focus on me and the baby and to enjoy the support of the water. My instructor was so friendly and welcoming and helpful. I feel I got a lot out of the class, and I can’t wait to do another course with Swimtastic.

Swimtastic courses are full of energy and fun. I've done adult lessons and my children have completed the Junior lessons. I'm looking forward to my Aerobics term, if my previous experiences are anything to go by, it will be great. I haven’t been exercising regularly in the past couple of years, and this is a good way to get back to it!

I've been with many swim schools and clubs over the years, and I have to say that Swimtastic are the most professional and supportive I've encountered. I have had a leg injury and have not put much pressure on it. The instructor ran through a sequence with me, and it helped greatly. The water is great for gentle resistance.

I needed to do something to start getting back fit but that wouldn’t bee too strenuous, and the Swimtastic Aqua Aerobic class was exactly what I needed. Great fun, lots of support. I enjoy the warm pool and it feels like a great way to have a morning just to myself. The first term has been lovely. Thank you.

A great workout. It’s a better experience to exercise in water. The instructor is great fun and I have loved my first term of classes. The sequences are gradual and build up your strength and fitness week by week. The music and energy of the instructor builds up a good energetic atmosphere. These classes are good fun and worth doing.

Excellent exercise to music and the instructors was very supportive and patient. I’d highly recommend Swimtastic. I went into the first class pretty nervous and not having been doing much exercise. The instructor was patient with me and encouraged and motivated me. I ended up enjoying it a lot and give the course a thumbs up!

Great atmosphere and excellent fitness sequences. The swimtastic staff are very helpful. I started with Aqua Aerobics and then moved up to Aqua Fit. I’ve been through nearly all the Swimtastic programs now, and really enjoy them. I do quite a lot of exercise every week, and this programme I really look forward to. A professional outfit.

After 25 years of avoiding the pool, the sea and sitting looking at others swimming and enjoying the water - I am now totally delighted to say that I am a swimmer. That is thanks to Swimtastic. I was extremely nervous and embarrassed, but they were so patient and encouraging. I moved into the learn to swim programme and now I enjoy 2 swims a week. Don't let your fears hold you back!
